Survival & Healing

On the Edge

(Sacred Ordinary – October 2025)

Some days it feels like we’re steady,
like the ground beneath us is finally solid again,
like we’ve found our rhythm after the storm.

And then there are days like this ,
when I can feel the tremble beneath my feet,
the weight of all we’ve been through
pulling us back toward the edge.

We’re not falling,
but we’re not standing still either.
We’re balancing,
one careful step at a time,
trying to keep what we’ve rebuilt
from slipping away.

I don’t think he realizes how thin the line feels sometimes,
how quickly fear can rise in my chest,
or how one quiet distance
can echo like thunder in my heart.

But I also know this:
we’ve stood here before and didn’t break.
We found our footing once,
we can find it again.

Maybe that’s what love looks like now,
not perfect balance,
but the willingness to reach for each other
every single time the ground starts to shift.

We’re still here,
still fighting,
still finding our way
on the edge. 🌙

✨ If You’re Walking Your Own Edge…

If you’re somewhere between fear and faith right now, and still learning how to stand after the storm, this little book brought me comfort. I found solace in it when I needed it most. It reminded me that even when the ground feels uncertain, healing is still happening beneath your feet.
